September 24, 20187 yr So you’re saying it’s a 2 horse race? Looks like my formula was screwed up. Here are the correct numbers.

Yards/ATT TD/Att Int/Att

Tua 12.9125 0.1500 0.0000

Grier 11.7579 0.1474 0.0316

Haskins 10.3826 0.1391 0.0087

Murray 11.6818 0.1250 0.0227

September 24, 20187 yr It’s going to be close with those number, Wood, great post. OSU should start leaving Haskins in more than 2 quarters now. Going to be semantics at that point.
September 24, 20187 yr He should be in the conversation but he plays at Kentucky and is not a QB, so the odds are against him. They have to keep winning for him to have a chance. I think most of the nation just think he had a great game Saturday. Most of the nation hear he broke a few Kentucky records, well to them, it is Kentucky, not very relevant. Just the way it is. It is a two way race between Tua and Haskins in my mind and Tua has a healthy lead at this point. Alabama with an elite offense is scary and Tua makes them elite. Agree 100%.
September 24, 20187 yr Author Benny is 80/1. My dad is in Vegas right now. I’m tempted to hit him up to ask if he wants to go half on Benny and throw a $100 down on Benny. I won’t miss the $50 and the idea of splitting $8000 is pretty enticing.

September 24, 20187 yr Author Don’t do it. I got in on Dwayne at 20/1 but don’t feel good about it. Tua is gonna Tua. If I did it, it would simply be an emotional bet. Tua’s gonna win the damn thing, but it’s fun to dream about.

September 24, 20187 yr I've seen Tua play in every game. I think if he was able to play full games he would be even further ahead. Best QB in the game and it's really not that close. I'm putting Snell 2nd. He went off against one of the best D lines this year against Miss St. And that's with them knowing he's getting the ball. I'd put Murray third although I did not see the Army game so not sure what happened there. Haskins would be a close 4th. I looked at the box score, Murray was I think 11-15 for 165 and no picks. That game was basically Army grinding the clock and not turning the ball over much if any. Time of possession was like 44:15 Army to Oklahoma's 15:45 or there abouts.
September 24, 20187 yr Brett McMurphy just tweeted the latest Heisman odds: Tua 2/3 Haskins, Murray 5/1 Grier 6/1 McSorley, Milton 20/1 Dillon, Love 30/1 Fromm, Herbert, Lock, Swift 50/1 Snell 80/1 So you're saying there a chance......
September 24, 20187 yr Author Pretty crazy that there are 3 running backs ahead of Snell in Vegas odds.
September 24, 20187 yr It's going to be Tua, but I hope Grier gets to make the trip for the trophy presentation.
September 26, 20187 yr Tua is definitely the frontrunner, but think about how big of a favorite Saquon Barkley was, at this point last year. Things can change. One bad outing on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge would really shake things up.

One bad outing on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge would really shake things up. If he keeps playing like he has been and only has one bad night, I don't see it affecting his chances much at all.
