It's definitely hard to say without seeing both in-person. Personally, I think CCH's offense is a little stronger than their defense (based on the only game I saw live). Mayer is a beast on both sides of the ball.

I think we'll know more after Cov Cath plays Highlands and South Warren plays Bowling Green.

Looking at the stats, I have to think if these two go head to head, the winning team is going to be the team with the superior offense.

Also point out most of the yards allowed and points by South Warren has been in the second half of the game after the running clock has started and the starters have been pulled from the game.

Franklin Simpson 36-0 at half again starters did not see second half final 36-14

Grayson County 41-0 at half final 41-7 Grayson scored on a long pass over the subs in 3rd quarter.

 

I am sure that Cov Cath has had similar situations in the second half as well.
