November 1, 200619 yr Author Louisville isn't considered an underdog by the smart folks in Vegas. If Louisville fans tear down the goalposts, I will be embarrassed for them. Bigger things to come for them down the road IMO... Edit: NHS BIG DADDY said it better than I did. In the eyes of betters in Vegas and across the country UL is the underdog as over 63% are betting on WVA. And WVA is ranked higher = goalposts? I say yes.

I say yes.As I said, I am never in favor of it just for safety purposes. This would most likely be the biggest win in UL Football history and if you are all for tearing down goalposts, this would probably be the game to do it. If I were a big UL fan, I would not want to discuss this at great length prior to the game.

Oddsmakers are smart. Louisville is still favored. Have you ever seen a 5th ranked team tear down the goal posts? On their own field no less? Like I said, it would be embarrassing.
November 1, 200619 yr You are thinking about 4 or 5 years ago when Murray State won. I am talking about two or three years earlier when TSU won (unless they took it to Winslow also). Oops wrong game, and why did we let them tear down our goal posts anyway?
November 1, 200619 yr I think they tore down the goal post at Murray in like 94 or 95 too didnt they? I was at that game and I remember some red headed kid getting arrested
November 1, 200619 yr The word going around town is sounding like if we win then they're coming down.

November 1, 200619 yr I would think UL would be above ripping the GP's down but I'm sure the mob mentality will take over if they win.
November 1, 200619 yr The only reason you can justify such an act is if the home team is an overwhelming underdog and pulls the upset.
