New Cath. wins by 21; too much Thoroubreds(sp) in this one. Holy Cross can not beat NCC twice in one year, just aint "feelin" that!! :)

This game could be played in the muddy conditions at Holmes w/a little rain this week. The slop favors the gigantic front of HC.

My vote also goes with NCC, but I think it will be close. I was very impressed with HC last week. They NEVER gave up. They have a lot of heart and talent. However, NCC has been there before and they are a smart and talented team. Very tough to beat twice. Good luck to both. It will be a good game.

NCC 28

HC 21

NCC will take this game....35-14 Breds... Vicars will get what is his and drop 180 yds and 3 td's on the INdians.

Newport Catholic 28-14.

NCC avenges earlier defeat by comfortable margin, 35-13.

As I been saying for awhile now, HC has had a good season. But when all of this is said and done with they will finish probably 3rd in the district again, which is about the same as any other year for them, because I do not think they will beat NCC again. I have now seen both teams play, and well NCC seems like the better team to me from what I have seen. And from what I have heard from the first game NCC probably should have won that game as well, but let it slip away. So thats why I take NCC in this one because they will be out for revenge and they are a better team now than they were earlier in the year...

So you're saying they're "better now" based off of games against Ludlow, Dayton, Bellevue, and the Polar Bears? You may ultimately be right but there's no way you can base it on how they ended the season.

They played Beechwood three weeks ago.

Yes, and played poorly in the 2nd half. So, we're now going to say NCC is playing better because they played one good half?

Yes

I'll need more evidence.

I dont think NCC will lose twice to this team in the same year. NCC by 21.

Yeah I feel pretty confident in saying they are better now. In the beginning of the season they were mostly all shotgun still like last season, but now they have gone back to actually mixing both and having like a power running game. Also they had to start the year a QB who was in his first year as Varsity Starting QB, so Im pretty sure he probably has gotten better as the year went on.

So yeah I do think they are better now than they were earlier in the year....
