September 3, 20188 yr What a rack! Nice deer. Do you hunt from a tree stand or ground blind? He hunts from a stand. Took a friend with him to video the hunt like on tv but it happened so fast they didn't get any video.
September 3, 20188 yr Probably going to shoot my first bow this afternoon. Not hunting, just shooting on a friends property. So I spent yesterday afternoon/evening shooting a bow for the first time and I’m hooked. It was awesome. I did pretty good too! If I can get the pic to upload I’ll show y’all my first round.

September 19, 20188 yr Author Anybody had any luck the last 2 weeks? Zero. In five sits this season, I’ve seen one deer.
September 23, 20187 yr Author Went out to Taylorsville lake this morning. I had 3 does come in to about 25 yards. I didn’t see them until they were super close and got busted lifting my bow up. Another doe came in super close, I even drew back. I waited for her to step out, But she literally turned on a dime. She was inches away from getting an arrow. It’s a bummer that it didn’t work out, but I left feeling super encouraged about that spot.
