August 26, 20188 yr Archery opens up Saturday, but looks like it’s going to be scorching hot. I’ll be out there regardless of course! Anyone else making their way to the woods Saturday?

August 28, 20188 yr Won't get out this weekend to hunt but may try to work on some stands. Been busy every weekend for the past couple of months so haven't been able to do any work on my spots. Won't try to hunt until it cools off a bit.

Thanks man! It was the only one I saw, I actually shot and missed the deer the first time. It ran, milled around for a bit then walked even closer. Second shot was on the money. Btw, I bought lighted nocks for the season...it was really cool being able to tell how the shot was placed right away. First shot, I clearly saw it low. Second shot, clearly saw it punch through the rib cage. Plus, no worries about losing arrows.
