Jackets are playing better football than the first meeting between the two, and will have a healthy Hamblin. Harlan had an impressive defensive effort against Sommerset that can't be ignored no matter what the field conditions were. However, Harlan may fall into the trap of looking ahead at that rematch with Sommerset they want so bad. I expect it to be an extremely tight game.

I say the field helped keep Cole down. Look for that defenseive scheme though to be a blue print to shutting down the jumpers. This game is hard to say. I know the last game was closer than the scored showed but the Jackerts special teams really cost them in that game. Punts for negative yards is not good. If Williamsburgs special teams and DEFENSE shows up, than I go with the Jackets.

If the field is dry this could get to be a shoot out. Even though the last game went Harlan's way, Frazier to Root was the only offense the Jackets could muster. Now the Jackets have all their weapons in the quiver and Frazier could fire to Root, Hamlin, Jefferies, Patrick, and Brock. The Jackets d will never be great, and really has only one big play guy in Root, but it is getting a bit better each game.

:thumb: The Dragons haven't been guilty of looking past anyone this year, and I don't think they will start with the Jackets. Look for Harlan defense to come up big again.

I think it comes down to depth. W-burg has 4-5 really nice athletes but Harlan can match that and is more balanced and is just more physical. I look for a good close game but the Dragons wear em down late and win by 10. 24-14

Playing at home, I give Harlan the edge.

This is Coach Donahue's best team since the 99 team that was a war club. Present assisiant coach Shoope's senior year, what a player he was. This year's team seams to be on a mission to do something great and after last Friday it is up to them as to how long that they play, it could be a few more weeks.

If Williamsburg takes care of the ball I think they've got a real shot to pull off an upset here. Harlan really struggled offensively against Somerset and while they only gave up 14 points on a really wet, slick field Somerset missed a chip shot field goal, threw just a really bad interception in the end zone and was stopped inside the Dragons 20 yard line another time. On the last 2 I have to give some credit to the Harlan D but even with the bad conditions it could have easily been 31-7. That would lead me to believe that the game between the Jackets and Dragons will be very close. The only thing is Harlan did manage to block a punt and with Williamsburg's struggles on special teams coupled with the game being at Harlan I'll take the home team 34-21.

Special teams play by Harlan doomed Lynn Camp. They (Harlan) gave W'burg

fits the last game at Harlan. I know that W'burg is healthy now, but I still can't see them taking Harlan at Harlan. It will be closer, but Harlan still makes you change your game with their D. Mistake free ball is hard to play, and that is what it is going to take. Harlan makes you pay for almost every mistake. Is it supposed to rain all week? That would make a big difference in that game, also. Still say Dragons by a touchdown plus.
