Well I wish I had worded my responses like this....but no one ever accused me of being level headed! Honestly, all I was trying to say was mistreatment and bad behavior goes on everywhere, and no one wants to admit it...so collectively pointing fingers at one group only causes even more trouble.

Sorry about that...never could spell I hold no grudges towards SoMerset, and think you all have a great team. I'm just pointing out that singling Williamsburg out is a mistake. "pot calling kettle black" type of thing, you know? And just so you know, attacking people's grammar on a message board (LOL at that, BTW!), and then offering no counter arguement other than another cheap shot (not seeing you again)...just makes you look really bad. Worse, in fact, than you were trying to make me look by pointing that out. It's a message board....honestly...... I know you were trying to come off all bright, but it just makes it look like you have NOTHING to add but MORE cheap shots(lighting scoreboard up....and you're trying to defend Somerset? Honestly, there was no trashtalking about teams going on here before that). And regardless of correctness, you and everyone else knows what I meant. Back on topic, singling Williamsburg out was uncalled for and unjustified...and in poor taste. I dug myself down to that level and took the bait and retaliated...I apologize for that. But regardless of spelling, my points are valid. Let's move past this and focus on a few exciting weeks of football. As long as we argue about it like this, things won't get better between schools. Placing all the blame (Daddy's first post "this is where a lot of the bad blood comes from) on williamsburg or anybody is crazy. It takes two teams to have bad blood, and until both sides realize that it'll stay that way. Good luck to all teams!

Well, based on the way we've been treated up there....don't let the door hit ya!:thumb: Honestly, how did this thread get turned into a bash Williamsburg thread? Sour grapes....would anyone have mentioned this if Lynn Camp had won? I think we all know the answer to that... Why don't we turn this around on the other teams? I've been to plenty of places in my life, and if you even throw in college games...the treatment from Sommerset that one time a few years ago was BY FAR the worst treatment I've ever experienced by a fanbase. And not just the '5 fans' ever team has...I can specifically think of an example of a Sommerset administrator who acted very poorly to our fans. Can you say the same about a Wburg admin? I think not. And I hardly think a preventative measure of calling the police qualifies nearly to the extent of what we experienced up there. Make all the excuses you want, but there is no excuse for what went on up there...and for a Sommerset admin. to condone it....horrible. And Williamsburg has no control over how the police handle it...if they warn all of the Sommerset fans not to yell...obviously that's on them, and not WIlliamsburg. And that one trip to Sommerset wasn't an isolated incident by any means.... To Lynn Camp...I pretty much covered in another post that the police were indeed justified this trip. I cannot speak for the previous trips you've mentioned though. However, I think it's in very poor taste to come in and bring it up the way you did...pointing it out would have been one thing, but to start all this, bringing up Sommerset and impying Williamsburg is a mean group that picks on the visiting teams....ask some of your fans what was said, and then tell me if we were just picking on you? So you all can go ahead and act like Williamsburg is just picking on you...act like your fans and school is above it and point all the fingers you want. Sommerset needs to take a good look in the mirror, and Lynn Camp needs to do a better job listening to the threats being issued by some of their fans...and then come back to this debate.

Jackets are playing better football than the first meeting between the two, and will have a healthy Hamblin. Harlan had an impressive defensive effort against Sommerset that can't be ignored no matter what the field conditions were. However, Harlan may fall into the trap of looking ahead at that rematch with Sommerset they want so bad. I expect it to be an extremely tight game. Jackets 35 Harlan 34

Without getting into specifics, there were indeed threats issued on the lynn camp side of the field. It's unforunate you feel like you're being picked on as a fanbase, and even more unfortunate that these 5 or so fans from every team behave like they do....however, from what was being said, action was justified. In all probability everything would have been fine, but sometimes you have to take preventative measures to be sure things don't get out of hand. Let's just leave it at that.

I have the game on tape, and I've watched that play about 4 or 5 times....didn't see a single lineman in the endzone. It was a called pass play, so all the linemen were pass blocking. However, it wasn't be best angle so it's possible one could have been past the line of scrimmage. But after reviewing it, it wasn't a blown call IMO.
