Somerset won the last meeting but Cumberland has really turned it on as of late. They have also opened up their offense a bit since they last met.

 

Thoughts, predictions?

I think that Cumberland knows that they are just as good as Harlan and should've/could've won. Also seeing Harlan give the Jumpers all they want will be a positive. This time of year is when you find those hidden bits of motivation and use them to your advantage. I'm not saying that the Skins will come out and win this game but it will be a lot closer than the last game. Cumberland can win this and has the weapons to do so but it's not likely.

I see a high scoring game between two good teams with Somerset pulling away at the end. Somerset just has too many guns. Somerset 50 Cumberland 35

Guys, Somerset has found it's D since the last time they met, so it could be uglier than before.

Somerset's defense is much better than the last time these two met but Cumberland has been playing well and is capable of causing some problems. I just don't see them having enough to make it a tight game. I'll say Somerset 49 Cumberland 14.

I agree, think it will be a high scoring ball game.

This game might be a bit closer than most on here think. Skins have a few weapons of their own and could get things going at the patch and could get the upset of the early rounds. Heart says take the boys from c-town but logicial thinking says them rabbits will be ready.

I don't know about the Somerset defense giving up 32 points. Last time these two played Somerset gave up 28 and 14 points of that was on the JV team. The Somerset defense has gotten MUCH better since early in the season. Just don't see them scoring more than 14.

Somerset defense showed up in a big way friday night against a good harlan team. Offense never could get into rhythem partly due to weather but if the Somerset defense can keep that kind of play up and the offense is clicking watch out!! I think this game wont be the blow out it was before but it wont be close either. Ill take Somerset 42-14

Ok I have waited to see if our running back Hughes was going to be able to play and he says he is ready so I will now make my prediction.

Field is still a little sloppy from last week so that may slow down both teams. Somerset defense has improved steadily from week to week and I almost predicted a shutout but don't believe that will happen.
