Congrats to Ohio on the win and good luck in the rematch with New Albany, Indiana.8-5 Indiana won last time.

 

Congrats to Kentucky on getting back to the world series. This particular little league from Kentucky was playing in the little league for the first time in ten years. They were playing in the Cal Ripken Division.(The announcers did not elaborate on the differences, of the two)

I would guess somewhere near or in Louisville. That's the area where the most Little League baseball is played, and usually where KY's representative is from. Little League is virtually non existent in NKY.

The team was from St. Matthews here in Louisville.

Correct Kentucky loss. I was saying congrats to them because this was the first time this particular little league, was eligible to make this tourney.

Yep. This is the Great Lakes Regional tourney. Winner goes to the series in Williamsport.

Where is the Ohio team from?

 

The Ohio team (from New Albany) got crushed by the team from Indiana (also from New Albany) 8-0. Indiana now plays Michigan, I believe.
