Wish you could have pulled that one off Raiders. Congrats on a great regular season! Job well done Coach Poynter! Glad to see things are well in Bedford! Good people deserve good things!

Impressive job indeed. Poynter is a good coach.

Refs were terrible to start the second half...Frankfort was up 6-0 at the half, and on Trimble's first drive, they started throwing flags on Frankfort like crazy. This is when Trimble got their only score...The refs threw out a Frankfort fan that was standing 10 or 15 yards off the side of the field, yet there were Trimble County fans standing on the back line of the endzone on the opposite side of the field. I encountered some very rude Trimble fans (they were younger people), in the stands that were saying things that need not be said in front of the younger children in attendance...Nevertheless, the better team prevailed...

On a side note, something has to be done about Trimble's field...It is absoulutely awful. I dont believe I've ever been there once that the field was dry. Mud everywhere, and water puddles 4 inches deep....No conditions for playing football, and IMO it is a health hazard to the athletes...I think the KHSAA should be able to mandate that in some way.

All the fields were in bad shape tonight. Believe we have had some rain the last few days. Where have you been? Gripe, Gripe, Gripe. Congratulations Trible Co on a good season. You played a great game tonight.

Warned u guys that the home kitchen would be a cookin up a fine meal. Field there is less than acceptable. Sew some seed this fall. Good luck rest of the Frankfort

Congratulations Panthers!!!!!

Now get focused on the post season.

Hey Deuce, I guess you didn't have a problem with the Holding call in the 2nd quarter that killed the Trimble drive inside the 5 yard line?

The ball didn't try to float away last night did it ? I've been there when it has. Not joking. Nothing against the Trimble program is meant here, but it absolutely has the worst field in this part of the state when we get heavy rains like we've had here lately. Congratulations to Trimble on a winning regular season, and good luck next week verses Danville.

Congrats to Trimble County on a hard fought game.

The officials were bad but they where bad for both teams. The head official actually apologized to the Frankfort staff twice for their mistakes. I do not believe that it was home cooking. Because trimble got what I thought was 2 bad calls.

Field was a mess, but both teams had to play on it. I just glad no one got hurt.

Frankfort missed 2 chances in the 1st half to score penalties killed the drive.

Trimble recovered a botch punt to set up there only score. Fields broke an 80 yard run late to give FHS the lead. On the next kick off Trimble fumble to set up the last touchdown.

Good luck to Trimble County the rest of the year. They have some good kids and a solid coaching staff.

Frankfort wake up and get ready for a war over the next couple of weeks.

Congrats to Frankfort, you all have tons of athletes and enough toughness to go a long way. Best of luck through out the playoffs!! I know I'll be there watching some of the games!

I've seen several fields where regardless of rain they still were playable...Trimble's field is VERY rarely playable...Its a health hazard to the athletes that have to play on it, IMO.

The Trimble O-Linemen were taking the Frankfort D-Lineman to the ground the whole game...One holding call was in order, I believe...

Congratulations to the Panthers on their victory. Fields, Robinson, their teammates and their coaches did a great job and were solid, tough competitors. They were a class act, as opponents go. Good luck against Carroll this week. Here's one fan you have in your corner for that game.

Was the field bad? Yes. It rained for 2 days straight. However, as Coach Buckett said, it was bad for both teams. I have read several, several threads on games from last night and they all mention terrible field conditions and "mudbowls".

Congratulations also to the Raiders. Almost everyone had written them off, but luckily the coaches and the team paid no attention to that and they almost got the win. They played tough and were hardnosed. Go ahead and tell them that their season will end this week when they play Danville. Shout it, if you want - they aren't listening.

Keep up the good work, Raiders. You know what you have to do - now just get it done!

Are these really from the same person? Thanks for the idea to sew the seed this fall. We would have never though of that on our own.
