BTW, hats off to BOTH offensive lines. They did a great job.

The shame is they are the two best teams in the state in AAA and they have to play each other again in 2 weeks

That's debateable. I know many in Johnson County and other parts of the state don't feel a 6 - 4 team should be in the top 5.

With all due respect to the fine folks from metro Paintsville.....

That's as good as it gets right there. Bovard hauls in the TD catch as time expires to win it for the Colonels...

What a catch by Bovard. Not sure about Highlands covering him with one player, but it worked out for the Colonels.

Wow. I was shocked that CCH was able to move the ball that well against the HHS defense. The lack of Bluebird pass rush was surprising.

Clay Cecil was unreal. The Colonels kept Kramer in check, but Conner on mis-directions and Cecil on draws were just awesome.

Popham is a freak. How about those kicks in a game of that magnitude? Are you kidding?

The rematch in Park Hills will be awesome.

That play-by-play guy for ICN6 was dreadful.

The weather, combined with the live telecast, combined with the given rematch in a fortnight killed Highlands at the gate.

I'd expect CCH to throw even more in the rematch. The pass was there all night long with part of that due to the great protection given to Josh.

I have not watched the kid from Louisville that UK offered but if he's better than Popham......

Who do we have to petition to get me the ICN6 PBP job next year??? :D

Considering that my wife even said "the 52 yard line? What?" , they may not need to step up to your high salary demands to be better.

I haven't seen him either, but I find it nearly impossible to believe he's better. Popham is the best of three strait amazing CovCath kickers.

High salary demands...

Very exciting game, congrats to the Colonels. You won the battle tonight. Makes for a monster game in 2 weeks.

CCH stonewalled the birds rush all night. The only time they get a decent rush is when they rushed only two and the QB scrambles and hits the WR down the sideline for a 35 yards. TV had a great replay and the QB did a great job of leading the WR.

At least he was right almost 60% of the time on the yardline during the course of the game.

Brandon Brown ran at will when he was put at RB. I think he could be a weapon in the rematch.
