June 10, 20188 yr Same here but I still feel like Miami is a realistic option. I forget about Miami. You're right though, I think LeBron genuinely enjoyed his time there.
June 10, 20188 yr Easy money. If the owners were honest they’d tell you they care more about selling out their arena every game more than winning. LeBron James is by far the most bankable player in the NBA. Not one team would turn him down if he wanted to play there. Not one. It’s really not even close. Right now the 3 most marketable current athletes in the world are Messi, Ronaldo, and Lebron. Lebron is an international star.
June 10, 20188 yr I get that, but adding Lebron doesnt really fit with what they have been doing. They can win without him, adding him changes the dynamic of the team and everything they have been building. They can’t win a championship without Lebron. Ben Simmons might reach a level one day where he can carry a team to the finals but that’s 6 years down the road at least. Hell the Sixers couldn’t get past Boston without their two best players. So no they can’t win a championship without Lebron unless they added someone like Kawhi.
June 10, 20188 yr Golden state would, theres one, you owe me dinner, lol. Golden State would add Lebron in a heartbeat.
June 10, 20188 yr I hear a lot of talk about Boston, but personally I don’t see it. I’m not sure what the Lebron/ Kyrie relationship is anymore. I have no doubt if Lebron showed interest then the Celtics would do just about anything to get him there but Boston is the only team in the East that could win a championship without Lebron.
June 10, 20188 yr You think GS wouldn’t even talk to LeBron? You really believe that? No doubt. :lol2: If LeBron calls them and is like I am dead serious I want to come to Golden State they’d dump Klay and Draymond so fast it would be insulting. Steph, LeBron and KD????? They’d be bringing in Brinks trucks to collect the cash every day.
June 10, 20188 yr I forget about Miami. You're right though, I think LeBron genuinely enjoyed his time there. I think his family did as well. DWade is there. Miami’s supporting cast is exponentially better than Cleveland’s. All they need is LeBron and they are instantly at worst the second best team in the East. It sets up nicely for him.......
June 10, 20188 yr It’s Cleveland, Philadelphia, LA, or Houston IMO. The Celtics sounds good on paper but it a lot has to happen for that to work. Him and Simmons are a weird fit together so I don’t see that happening either.
June 10, 20188 yr I have zero clue where he will end up but I expect to be surprised. He said last night that he is still in championship mode when it comes to where he will play and that it will be a family decision. He said his kids are older now and will have more influence on where he chooses to play. Honestly that makes me think that Cleveland has a shot at keeping him. All we do know is this.......he will be discussing next season with a whole lot of people. Including Kevin Durant who can opt out of his contract and be a free agent. I don’t see Houston as an option. LeBron is still the best player in the world. I can’t see Harden and LeBron co-existing in the court. When I hear LeBron say he is still in championship mode I don’t see him enjoying playing with Harden. LeBron said it earlier this week.....some players don’t want the pressure of playing to win championships. I don’t feel like Harden wants that pressure. I could be wrong about that but that is what I feel like we see from Harden. Boston is intriguing. At first I said nah, won’t happen. But Boston can make it happen. Kyrie is a free agent in 2019 I believe so it is plausible Boston would trade Kyrie if it meant landing LeBron. I also add that the new narrative floating around is that LeBron didn’t want Cleveland to trade Kyrie and if that is true then could there be a reunion in Boston? LeBron has never played for a traditional basketball powerhouse. He made Cleveland legit and he bolstered Miami’s resume tremendously. People have mentioned what his legacy means to him.....if he goes to Boston and defeats the Warriors in Boston with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick cheering him on in the front row and Larry Bird watching from Danny Ainge’s suite it would be an outstanding story with obnoxious hype and media coverage. I can see Boston happening more and more with each passing hour. I don’t see him going to LA unless they ship Lonzo Ball out and Paul George or Demarcus Cousins joins him in LA. Fact of the matter is that LeBron doesn’t have time to fool with Lavar Ball’s antics while he is trying to not only win a championship but not get beat in the first round of the playoffs. Also regarding the Lakers LeBron also said this week that having cerebral players on the team who can think and have a high IQ on the court during the games is essential to win championships. That right there makes me feel like there is no way he goes to LA. They are way too young and way too green. I can’t help but think that he could end up back in Miami. If he is serious about the family being involved in the decision then I think he could end up back in Miami with DWade. The Heat’s supporting cast is better than what he had in Cleveland. If he can convince one of these top notch free agents to come to Miami...........KD on line 1....... If he goes to the West I think he only has 2-3 options. Houston is one but I don’t like that makeup. The Spurs are another choice. Especially if they lose Kawhi. I’ve heard some OKC conspiracy theories that sound like a lot of fun. And then there’s Golden State as well........ I don’t understand why he would leave the East though. 8 straight finals from the East. It would be awfully risky to go out West. People keep mentioning Philly. That is another very intriguing option. I’d be there for all of the Joel Embiid trash talking to the rest of the NBA. LeBron in Philly would be a whole lot of fun. Either way, this is going to be a ton of fun. I’m excited for his future!!!!!!!! I agree it will be a surprise and my surprise pick that i been saying for months is the Knicks.

All they need is LeBron and they are instantly at worst the second best team in the East. It sets up nicely for him....... Miami's roster is better? Really? Especially after they lose people once taking on his contract? Me thinks if he goes to Miami we will hear for like the 12th time in his career, LeBron needs more help.
June 10, 20188 yr KD is staying. I think he stays too but I do think that LeBron talks to KD about teaming up somewhere. If that happens I think that is the only plausible scenario where KD doesn’t stay at Golden State.

Miami had a solid team this year and if not for injuries they may have been even better. I fully expect the Heat to trade Hassan Whiteside but as much as I love their roster I’d package Dion Waiters and Hassan Whiteside and some draft picks and I would tell LeBron welcome back home, here’s the key to the house. He’d be out there with Dragic, Josh Richardson, Justice Winslow, Tyler Johnson, James Johnson, Kelly Olynyck, Bam Adebayo, Rodney McGruder and Wayne Ellington. He can beat the Warriors with them. Oh, crap. I forgot DWade.

No doubt Miami would do what it takes to get him back. However I don't think he would have better talent around him. Especially if no other star joins him.
