I've noticed on some of these slow nights in the ballpark, I see certain plays and then expect to read about it afterwards on our Reds thread.

How in the world was there not a post complaining about how they didn't score with bases loaded and no outs in the first? lol

Apathy, pure apathy.

Hamilton CF

Peraza SS

Votto 1B

Duvall LF

Suarez 3B

Mesoraco C

Schebler RF

Blandino 2B

Bailey P

For goodness sakes, stop playing Duvall! He's so unbelievably atrocious, it's comical that he's being run out there more than once a week.

Reds have activated Suarez from the DL & called up utilityman Rosell Herrera from Louisville.

Sent Cliff Pennington and Phillip Ervin to AAA.

None of us our shocked by this anymore.

Herrera seems like a super utility guy. I like the move to bring him up. I’m all for seeing some fresh faces on this team. Herrera was the 87th best prospect in baseball in 2013 and is a former futures game participant, he’s still just 25 years old. Should’ve released Duvall and made Ervin the everyday Left Fielder. Herrera should be given the chance to play CF a few times a week to see if somehow he could be a future piece there.

From Doug Gray:

When it comes to Rosell Herrera, he’s been hitting well all spring. He almost made the team out of spring training, but was ultimately sent to Triple-A. In 15 games with the Bats he’s hit .311/.373/.607. That’s come along with five walks and 10 strikeouts in 68 plate appearances.

Career .283/.354 hitter at the AAA level in 381 at bats there with 22 SB

Defensively he can play a little bit of everywhere. Just this season he’s played shortstop, second base, third base, center field, left field, and right field in Louisville. He’s a switch hitter.

Marty said on the radio that Bailey was the best 0-3 pitcher in baseball, lol.

Braves up 2-0 in the second inning.

He’s had 2 runs of support total all year. Lowest in MLB and Mahle is second even after all the runs his last start.

It was just funny Marty said that, and then Bailey gave up the home run.

Votto with a 3-run HR and we're tide at 4 in the 6th.

3 straight games with bombs for Joey.

Joey haters were awfully quiet in this thread.

Shhhhhh...don't poke the bear.

Man...Ronald Acuna Jr. is gooooood.

Acuna, Swanson, Freeman, Albies, Inciarte...the Braves have a nice group of young players. Not to mention their top young pitchers...Soroka, Wright, Anderson, Gohara, Folty, Newcomb, Allard....

Things look good for the Braves future.
