They're 5-20 and, from reading several writers, they need to embark on a 2nd rebuild because they botched the first one. Votto is headed towards an age-fueled decline and will never win a playoff series in a Reds uniform as a player.
April 27, 20188 yr Billy Hamilton has 29 strikeouts in 76 at bats. He's got 13 hits. I have to admit that I was a Hamilton fan in previous years but I am absolutely stunned at the number of chances that he gets to play on the regular basis. He shouldn't be starting and he definitely should not be leading off! Why can't they use him as a super sub. They can let him run in important situations in close games, let him finish games in the outfield as a defensive replacement. He can be an important player on this team but you can not continue to let him hit. He has proven that he can not get on base with any regularity.
April 27, 20188 yr What more does Winker need to do to start and lead off every game? He's been the best hitter on this team up to this point. .323 AVG .449 OBP
