I really like Zaxby's and prefer their chicken to Chick-Fil-A. Not having a Canes within about 100 miles they get my business. Than being said they are no Canes.

Like I've always said with CFA, it's not that they have the best chicken or fries or whatever. It's about the consistency. I know I'm going to get good service and a quality product every time I order there. The same can't be said for most fast food places.

 

This is true, but I feel that Canes does just as good as CFA when it comes to consistency.

I’m impressed with the responses, which makes me confident that this is a thing and justifies how an innocent family discussion turned into a thing. Personally, I’m for Chick-Fil-A. The fam seems to be pro Cane’s but I think it’s strictly for the Cane’s sauce, which is shenanigans. The sauce doesn’t make the chicken. Or is it the chicken doesn’t make the sauce?

I tried 3 times to get Guthrie's and all three times they didnt have chicken ready so I couldnt get it. Gave up on them.

Are they telling you it will be a few minutes? It does take a few minutes even if you eat in because they don't cook the fingers ahead. (Burlington or Mineola Pike?)

Who is CFA priced so high? Is it because quality service comes at a premium $$ ?

1 Chikfila - the chicken is good, sandwiches, finger or nuggets, sides are great. Only fast food place that has never messed up my order

2 Canes - cannot even be considered #1 until they get some BBQ sauce already menu is very limited

3 KFC - I don’t get the fried chicken but will often get a chicken share of strips or popcorn chicken on my way to work, love the pot pies and potato bowls

 

Distant 4 Zaxby’s I like their sides have other options like kettle chips, cheese curds

I just don’t care for their chicken - the three above taste like fresh chicken - zaxby’s tastes like it was bought frozen from GFS or Costco

Same here, I’ve never had that happen and I go at lunch rush hour frequently. They do not make it ahead, that is true. But that’s a good thing.

 

Also as to the statement above. Correct, the sauce doesn’t make the chicken but if the chicken is good for both, the sauce could absolutely be the differentiator.

Cane's by a zillion miles.

 

Chick-Fil-A is #1 on my most overrated list.

 

I’m gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there Duece. I voted Canes, but I’d take a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A over the other standard fast food places.
