Boyd County vs Ashland predictions

Featured Replies

Well at least we're at Ashland so we shouldn't see an "A" burned into the grass on the County f'ball field.

Good One....I would play dumb too...:thumb: :thumb:

Actually if you dont know what we are talking about, then you dont know true Ashland Tradition.

I will say good luck to both teams. But if Boyd County plays Ashland the way they played JC it could be a very long night for the Tomcats. But good luck to both teams as I will be in Mason.

I don't think BC has enough skill for Tomcats .... But if skills are close , game will be very interesting ....

I think thats why BC hasn't raised the playing field to get it out of the flood plain. It's hard to start a fire in a pond. :D

I guess maybe I missed something....I am lost on this statement...

uhmm few years back some boyd kids put an ashland jersey on a cross and were burning it at a game.

Those dang fire bugs, pyromaniacs in the county!

Uhmm....OK, not the first time those sort of things have happened....

Apparently not too hard.

I think (imo)Ashland has more skilled players then Boyd Co. and on paper should win,but when these two teams play throw the records and stats out the window.

I hope on film day the Tomcats take a close look at the disire and timing of the JC football team. The timing on offense was perfect ,when the snap count was called and the ball started to move the o-line was firing off the ball right with the backs and getting after somebody .(IMO)IF our o-line fired off the ball with 3/4 of the disire of JC we would be very hard to beat.

I"ll take Ashland in a close game .

I agree, I think Ashland can throw all over Boyd if they want. The lions dont have an answer for McDavid and Burns has 3td's in the last 2 games and has been a great compliment to McDavid at WR. I look for the cats to win.....

Ashland 35

Boyd Co 14

Ashland 36-19.

I agree. Burns has been under utilized this season. He may lack some height compared to our other receivers, but he has great hands!

I think this game wil be pretty close intil the 4th. I like Ashland in this one but this game has high emotions and it could go either way.

Ashland 24

BC 14

Just think, if Mason beats JC that puts Ashland into 1st place in the district and Ashland would have to play BC the following week.

Yep, but just think....Boyd could beat Ashland this week and Ashland could possibly not even get the number 2 seed.....Interesting week...:thumb:

I wonder what this thread would have been like in the mid to late 70's...

The Lions came over the mounnnnntainnnnnn...........and Ashland kicked their...........

Ah the good ole days.
