Praying for my great friend Joe and his family!

This breaks my heart. I had hoped after the last update that he would perceiver, but this is terrible news. Such a great man. Continued prayers for him and his family.

Prayers are with Coach Beard and his family during this most difficult and sad time. I hate to hear this news about Coach Beard...he positively impacted many kids lives during his tenure at Ludlow.

Just got a text from a family member. Coach Beard passed away last night. He was a class act.

Straight up guy, dedicated to the kids at Ludlow.

 

Often ran into him at the races at Belterra! He was in his element there and really enjoyed life.

 

One of the real good guys in our sport.

Ditto. I was thinking of him this morning and then here I see this. Such a great man. He gave everything he had at whatever he was doing. Truly a sad day.

This is so heartbreaking...what a great guy, and so very young. Makes me want to hold my loved ones close, and waste no time telling them that I love them. Life does not guarantee tomorrow, but no matter what I know or believe I always hold out hope in the words of St. Francis that It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Joe Beard was laid to rest earlier today (friday ) in his hometown of Rushville Indiana. Rest in peace my friend.

Hate to hear this. I didn't know him as well as Mack since Coach Beard came to GC after I had left Sawville, but he was always very nice towards me.
