PurplePride92 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Final from Pulaski County. Trevon Faulkner hits a layup with 7 seconds left to win the game for Mercer County.
Randy Parker Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Nice. How many did Faulkner end up with?
charlesw88 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Wow I wish I could have been there for that one!
Science Friction Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Looking forward to seeing Taylor and Faulkner go at it again when Corbin and Mercer play a rematch on Saturday in Lexington.
titan101 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Mercer was in a lose/lose situation last night. Supposed to win because Fitzgerald was out. Butt may have had his best game at Pulaski. End of the day Mercer has beat Pulaski on neutral court and at Pulaski. Please keep them as the favorite the rest of the year

A two-point win on the road against one of the region favorites who was playing without their Mr. Basketball candidate makes it hard to judge the outcome in its entirety, but it is becoming clear, especially with the Mercer win at Boyle, that the Titans will be among the favorites to get to Rupp.

It will be hard to beat them at Pulaski. 12th region coaches/administrators need to wake up and open it up to more than Pulaski and Lincoln hosting region every year
gchs_uk9 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 12th region coaches/administrators need to wake up and open it up to more than Pulaski and Lincoln hosting region every year From the meetings/conversations I've been involved in, I don't see that happening any time soon.

PurplePride92 Posted January 31, 2018 Author Posted January 31, 2018 Pulaski County and Mercer County are the 12th Region favorites and have been all year. Nothing changes that.
