Interesting quote regarding the SEC, from Male's Dexter Heyman...

Featured Replies

He was referencing his top 4, which are Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, and Louisville...saying that Mich, and UL are his top two....

"I'm really interested in Michigan and Louisville. As far as Florida and Tennessee, I like the atmosphere and the history at those schools. But the SEC is one of the toughest conferences in the country to play in, and no one ever goes undefeated in that conference, so that's kind of a drawback.

That says a lot.

That's the same thing I've been saying on here for months.. But I guess it has to come straight from the 'horses mouth' for some people to believe it.

Sounds like the kid is afraid of a challenge in some ways.

I bet I know which school he picks then! :walk:

The kid wants to win a title, and it's not likely in the SEC. Calling it like he sees it IMO...

...but don't you think it's equally tough, playing in the Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC.

Historically, these conferences offer contenders every year and with USC dominating the PAC 10 lately, it would be hard to choose a college, which could go undefeated and compete for a National Title.

He's also just a Junior, isn't he?

Been awhile since Louisville or Michigan has won a title isnt it?

UL yes, UM no...

He obviously has had a "brain fart" by not including The Ohio State Buckeyes in his group:D . That or he just isn't good enough. Just kidding around guys about him not being good enough:lol: but not about the brain fart.

This could also be something as to what the UL coaches are telling/selling him on as well.

The flip side could be that you could go to UL and go undefeated and not play for a national championship, and I would guess the coaches at the other schools could be telling/selling him this.

If I wanted to win a title Id probably go to Texas or USC. They have a little weaker conferences, but good enough that if they go undefeated they will play in the championship game.

Maybe he's just not into the whole paying college athletes thing....;)

He probably wants to actually go to class rather than taking Newspaper Reading 101 or having some friends of the program doing the work for him.
