Interesting quote regarding the SEC, from Male's Dexter Heyman...

...but don't you think it's equally tough, playing in the Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC.

Historically, these conferences offer contenders every year and with USC dominating the PAC 10 lately, it would be hard to choose a college, which could go undefeated and compete for a National Title.

He's also just a Junior, isn't he?

Uh.. NO. The Big Ten is probably second best behind the SEC, and it's not even that close. The Big 12 North champion was Nebraska last year. They lost six games! The ACC is a joke, with FSU, Miami, and Virginia Tech all being terrible this year.

No conference even comes close to comparing to the quality and talent of the S.E.C. Year in and year out, the SEC is heads and shoulders above every other conference. No question.

He was referencing his top 4, which are Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, and Louisville...saying that Mich, and UL are his top two....

Is Dexter related to Earl?

they are brothers.

Not even close, give me a break.....

There is a huge difference my friend, being ranked in the top #25 and being able to compete, in the top #25. I've done no research but how many National Titles contestants, have came from the SEC in the last 10 years.

You send Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU to Michigan, Ohio State, Miami, Florida State, USC Trojans, Oklahoma, Texas....see how good some other teams and conferences are.

Is the SEC good, YES very good....Are others close, YES and perhaps some schools, much better than any team in the SEC.

The best teams from the big conferences are all pretty equal. The reason the SEC is considered the better conference is because the worst teams from the SEC would probably beat the worst teams from the other conferences. The SEC is the best from top to bottom. The top 3-4 teams from all the big conferences would be competitive against each other, however.

Didn't Earl go to Ballard?

Yes.

Nebraska only lost 4 games last year and they didnt win the big 12 North, that belonged to Colorado.

Earl couldn't get in Male. Draw didn't go his way, just like its not gone for our nine year old but we will keep trying. Dexter had a great game against X.

they are brothers.

Is there another brother who also attended Male? I believe the name was Eric? Should have graduated around '98 or '99.........thanks for any and all info RP.
