January 11, 20188 yr Man, this blows. I was all excited to potentially get double digits and now they're saying 1-4 inches. That's not near enough.
January 11, 20188 yr Whole lotta "that's what she said" jokes to be made here. Must not be getting good wi-fi at the Compound.
January 11, 20188 yr We are leaving for Cleveland in the morning and coming back Friday. Have no clue what we may run into. @nWo coming back and leaving Cleveland around 12-1:00 Friday. What should we expect on our way home? Thanks so much my friend. I was able to move some things around so that now I'll be going to Akron in February, but safe travels to you and yours. Use caution around those Buckeye drivers.

January 11, 20188 yr These are just too easy. I hold you to a higher standard. That almost reads as a compliment. I'll do better.

January 11, 20188 yr I just sat through a NWS teleconference. Talk about a trip! Some of the questions people ask are mind blowing.
January 11, 20188 yr Nah. They were all just too easy! I’ll never change. Good! Leave the low-hanging fruit to me!
January 11, 20188 yr Author Here's my second call for ice and snow accumulations. First the ice, seems that most of the possible ice accumulations will be west of I-75 and north of I-64. The heaviest accumulations should be in WKY and around the Elizabethtown area. Those in those areas could expect upwards of around .25" of accumulation. The other areas may see a trace to .10" of an inch. For the snow, I'm seeing a swath of 6-8" with some maybe seeing upwards to around 10" between the Elizabethtown to Louisville. The Cincinnati/NKY area is looking 6-8" of snow. WKY could receive 1-3". EKY can also expect 1-3". The Lexington, Winchester, Richmond area may get 2-4". I will update in the morning.
January 11, 20188 yr Author Also for those who are not happy with the Friday/Saturday storm totals won't' have to wait for long. There is another system that looks to pass through Kentucky on Monday that should produce more accumulating snowfall.
January 12, 20188 yr Also for those who are not happy with the Friday/Saturday storm totals won't' have to wait for long. There is another system that looks to pass through Kentucky on Monday that should produce more accumulating snowfall. Had planned on leaving for Florida on Monday. That doesn't look like that will happen now. Here in Cleveland is cold and windy. Just hope we can get home ok tomorrow.

I don't know what time you are leaving so I checked starting around 10 am ET. You should have some rain/showers in the area with temps in the mid to low 30s. Also, there is a chance you could see some freezing rain/sleet mixed in at that time. It should turn to almost all sleet by noon time. It seems that the sleet/freezing rain will be all the way down to Columbus. There it should turn back into showers/rain around. That's around 2 pm ET. Around 3 pm the freezing rain and sleet should start in the Cincinnati/NKY area. The wintry weather should start in Winchester around 6 pm ET. I'll be keeping an eye on it for you my friend.
