From what I understand Lucas is still planning on visiting OSU next weekend. I think we have set the bar high and it would be hard for them to be more impressive than what they seen Friday night. Lucas gave the visit a "Perfect 10."

As for Patterson, Stewart was quoted saying that Patterson will decide between Kentucky and Florida as to where to go to school.

For a program with as much tradition as UK, getting top notch recruits shouldn't be that hard, but for some reason it is.

It is between UK and Florida for Patterson. Duke seems to be out. His father's comments have swung directly in UK's favor.

I understand what your saying if your talking about a 6-7 athletic wing who runs to run and shoot all the time. But for a player like Patrick Patterson, he would be great in UK's system. Dont get me wrong hed be great at Florida and at Duke too. But I think he fits in just as good and would benefit at UK as much as anywhere.

Smith took over a program that could pick and choose it's recruits. The football program is about where it has always been and the basketball program is mired in its longest final four drought in it's history. You tell me who needs to be taken up for?

People are complaing about him not being ranked higher than he is and about recruiting in general. Its getting better and we will see the results sooner than later.

So far two committments neither in the top 80. Lucas is in the 40's, Patterson 12 to 15. If UK does get both then this class will be very similar to last years.
