I am sorry if there are some who don't like what I post on here, I don't post for anyone other than myself. I don't like everything on here I read b/c most of it is down right funny and at times , well never mind. I will however express my opinion when I feel like I want and or need to.

It would seem to me that gametime should follow his own advice. I assume you are talking about my drivel (to quote), well if you don't like that drivel and reading my posts and opinions, why are you here? Express away. You know your stuff, and are good for the board. Just let the "I'll listen to Tubby because he knows more than you" talk die. It's very "my dad can beat up your dad"...

Wow, I did not see this thread turning into an argument. Tubby has done a decent job of recruiting and with the overall program, but there is no way that you can say the program is in as good of shape as when he took over, which is expected sense it was the top program in the country.

As I have said before, I don't care if my post count is zero from now to the end of time. The point is, there is no doubt Tubby knows more about his program than any of us. It's the "you're not Tubby, so what you say is irrelevant" points that always come up. That's why we're here. We all have opinions, and like to talk about our favorite teams...

I always thought that the saying was "excuses are like...."

Chris Barnes is a very interesting player. He is supposed to be 6-8 and 240. Hes also supposed to be very strong and a good rebounder, as well as a pretty good athlete. Hes not a great offensive player, but he is a big physical athletic kid who I see really helping our program over a 4 year period if we get him. Itll be interesting to see if he comes to UK.

As far as I know Stewart was a heavy Florida lean, however Donavon told him he was option #3 behind the likes of Hickson and Patterson. About 2-3 weeks ago Donavon started contacting Stewart and even had an in-home with him. Stewart pretty told him he wasn't interested in the Gators anymore.

 

Makes me wonder why Donavon was trying to get back in with his #3 option. They told Hickson to look elsewhere......I wonder if he feels PP is UK's to lose...

People have likened to him as a taller athletic Chuck Hayes.

Hopefully, it will be a fun next few weeks with the recruiting process.

Florida has a bunch of 3's and 4's in their program.

UK has immediate PT available for PP but it ultimately could come down a distance factor for Patterson and his family. His mother and father are very comfortable with the Smith's and Huntington is a short 2 hour drive to Lexington.

If PP pulls the trigger, I think Lucas does as well.

Barnes announcement will have no bearing on PP, and vice versa.

Marshall Moses is pushing his visit back a week.

You have to cover your bases.

I think Hickson has grade issues that scared people off.

Florida already has some wings and PF in the program and more coming in.

That was a preseason game and he was more likely the problem than the solution last year.

 

 

Maybe but I still think he had a point.... with their athelticism and lack of shooters... they should have been pressing more and getting a heckuva lot more turnovers. They just need some team chemistry...it surely hasnt been there in a while.
