USC must lose a game too
That's a given in my book.

^ Right ;)

I would be.

Don't be.

I would be.

Let me ask you this, who do you think the best two teams in the nation are?

I would like to agree but don't be surprised if a one loss team gets in over WVU/UL.

:thumb: I tend to agree with this statement. Who knows what will happen ?I predict that if this should happen and if the winner of the UL/WVU game is UL and are out of the titlegame I am sure that RP will organize, form and and conduct an official investigation complete with lawyers filing petitons and all. :D

Michigan and Ohio State.

Michigan and Ohio State.
:thumb: On a pretty solid level by themselves, too.

One of those two will go to the title game, and they'll beat their opponent. Anything other than that, would be something to be shocked over.

To say that the Pac-10 is a better football conference than the SEC is absurd.

:thumb: :thumb: Absolutely insane.

Michigan and Ohio State.

Those two maybe will the best national title game available at that time. A rematch between The Ohio State Buckeyes and that school up north (regardles of what happens in their reg. season game) for all the marbles, Ummmm, that might be well worth it and be legit as for pitting the two best teams against one another.

Right now it would seem the only way it would go down is if UM goes into the Horseshoe and pulls out a tight game and only UL/WVU is unbeaten. In that scenerio, there's no way a 1 loss SEC team gets in over tO$U, and if it was UL they'd be in trouble IMO...

Was listening to ESPN radio today and they were talking about college football. Hebry (who I think is one of the better talking heads) stated that he belives that as long as they otherwise win out, the winner of OSU / UM would play the winner of UF / AUB (SEC Championship). He says USC will lose to CAL. Obviously he also feels that ARK will not hold on to the SEC West.

Good for him... ;)

Should USC lose and the OSU/UM game is a barnburner, I would not be surprised to see a rematch for the finals regardless of WVU or UL being undefeated.

OSU/UM would receive some crazy hype if it is indeed the championship... I don't think I could turn into ESPN during the weeks before...

I guess the one advantage not having a playoff system has, is it makes the regular season such a huge deal! I think LSU and maybe Georgia Tech could be very dangerous teams come time for a playoff, but now t hey have no shot at it.

Its going to be very interesting to see who plays in the NC game.
