Cal above UT. :irked:

This is close to what I figured, USC at #2 is a joke imo  , they are the BCS darlings though.:sssh:

I can't complain. Louisville will get a boost of big SOS from three games yet to be played (one top 5 team in WVU, one top 20 team in Rutgers, and Pitt, which is just outside of being ranked.) If Louisville wins out they'll jump Texas after the victory over WVU, and all will be right with the world. Louisville needs help, but not as much as it would seem, debuting at 7th. Take care of business and they probably only need one loss (USC) to be #2 when the season ends.

I think an Auburn or Florida running the table could cause them problems.

That's computers for you....

Auburn would be the team that I think would cause the most concern for UL, outside of USC. UL will get a boost from beating WVU, but outside of that, there's not a whole lot of boost. Their schedules are about the same outside of that, and neither should lose. If Auburn were to find a way into the SEC Championship game and win there, I think theres a good chance they'll stay ahead of UL. But it is possible that the voters will take it into their own hands to vote UL further ahead of Auburn and end it right there.

I think an Auburn or Florida running the table could cause them problems.
Louisville would stay over them in the human polls, which are 2/3rds of the equation. And the computer polls will tighten up between them with the games that are coming up. Florida and Auburn don't have much room to go up in the computer polls, and Louisville can't help but rise. Louisville won't pass them in the computer polls, but it will be enough in my opinion.
To say that the Pac-10 is a better football conference than the SEC is absurd.
They aren't saying it, but rather proving it.
They play in the best conference http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbc06.htm and have that blowout win against the potential SEC west champion.

The best conference that is 0-10 vs Top 10 opponents and 7-19 (27%) against the top 30.

SEC is 4-12 (25%), 9-22 (29%)

ACC is 1-4 (20%), 4-13 (24%)

Big 10 is 1-8 (11%), 8-19 (29%)

Pac 10 is 0-10, 7-19 (27%)

Big 12 is 0-6, 2-15 (12%)

BEast is 0-2, 0-9

I think an Auburn or Florida running the table could cause them problems.

I especially agree with Auburn OR, they win out and win an SEC title game it should get interesting and I am not so sure that they shouldn't be in the title game if that happens. Would depend on what a couple of others do.

OSU, Michigan, and USC are on an island by themselves.

Eitehr OSU or Michigan is going to lose. USC has a tough stretch coming up.

Auburn is a surprise at #4.

They will likely win out and need Arkansas to lose 2 of their final SEC games to make Atlanta.
