December 28, 20178 yr Caldwell County alum Elijah Sindelar threw for 396 yards and four touchdowns. Turns out, he's played the last month with a torn ACL Sindelar Leads Purdue to Bowl Win…..On Torn ACL | Your Sports Edge
December 28, 20178 yr The kid can sling it. And the injury explains his inability to escape pressure last night.
December 28, 20178 yr Entertaining game. Caught bits and pieces of it. The fake kneel play was fun. Brohm is fun. Edited December 28, 20178 yr by Getslow
December 28, 20178 yr I gave up on the game because I thought Purdue had it locked up. Glad to see 2014 All BluegrassPreps.com Player of the Year Elijah Sindelar getting it done! http://bluegrasspreps.com/classic-bluegrasspreps/2014-all-bluegrasspreps-295894.html
December 28, 20178 yr Double bonus. Big win (after a disastrous few seasons) for my home town Boilermakers. And a young 'un from neighboring Caldwell County led 'em to the win. Hot diggity. I mean...Boiler Up!
December 28, 20178 yr Brohm is gonna be a superstar somewhere. He’s every bit as impressive of what Tom Herman was at Houston. Edited December 28, 20178 yr by John Anthony
December 29, 20178 yr Brohm is gonna be a superstar somewhere. He’s every bit as impressive of what Tom Herman was at Houston. And at least Brohm doesn't mock kids from the other team like Herman does. Brohm is going places, Herman will be buried under the expectations in Austin
December 29, 20178 yr Double bonus. Big win (after a disastrous few seasons) for my home town Boilermakers. And a young 'un from neighboring Caldwell County led 'em to the win. Hot diggity. I mean...Boiler Up! Boilermakers showed up, as well as a few Haymakers and Cornfield Sailors. Time to throw somebody into the Wabash.
December 29, 20178 yr Am I the only one disappointed they let Sindelar play with that injury in a meaningless game? Will he even be ready to go by the opener next year? Is it the same knee as his previous ACL injury?
December 29, 20178 yr Am I the only one disappointed they let Sindelar play with that injury in a meaningless game? Will he even be ready to go by the opener next year? Is it the same knee as his previous ACL injury? One, don't you think he had all kinds of medical clearance? Two, I doubt Brohm would jeopardize next year's campaign by playing Sindelar if there was even a remote chance that normal football play would exacerbate the injury. Three, (and I never thought I'd say this) in Purdue's case and where they are in their rebuild, this bowl game was not meaningless.
