I think it's hilarious that some of the Camel faithful keep bringing up the cannon and other such things in this discussion. I don't know if this guy does what's being alleged or not; but if so, there's no comparison. Interfering with gameplay and influencing the result of play is completely different from post-play celebrations.

Neither shows class so they do have something in common.

Your right this is hilarious, because what he does is not during the play, that is why I made the comparison. Those other things also happen after gameplay, therefore if he is wrong those are wrong.

Neither shows class so they do have something in common.

Does your team not score much?

Neither shows class so they do have something in common.
Now there's the rediculous statement of the day!

This is true. Again, I have no personal knowledge, so can't say either way.
Again you guys are wrong.Unless you (sandman) came to see the Camels play someone else, which I doubt you have, you have not heard Greg. They played Dixie away last year and Greg just started doing the PA. a little over a year ago! I don"t know who you are thinking of because you couldn't even hear the last guy.AGAIN GREG DOES NOT DO PLAY BY PLAY ON THE PA.

I've been around NKY football for a long time. That includes pee wee, middleschool, freshman, JV, and varsity. I've heard him before. He has before I heard it. Don't insult me by asking under what moon I was born either. I say he did, you say he didn't. I'll trust my memmory on this one, as I remember being ticked off about it when it happened.

In an effort to let this one die. I will give the benefit of the doubt that he no longer does it, but I know that he did at one point in his "broadcast career".

I was at the game last night and the PA did NOT even ONCE do play by play. I dont even know y were are argruing about this. Maybe b/c people are trying to find other reasons other than Campbell being better then them for losing to them. Greg Rose is a CLASS ACT and in no way would he ever even think about basing or saying anything negative toward the opposite team.

Now there's the rediculous statement of the day!

One parent doing something classless opposed to an entire team and city celebrating on a touchdown. You can't spike the ball, but shooting off a cannon is fine. What is classy about shooting off a cannon after a touchdown when the score is 64-7???????????????????????????????

Well first of all, I think it is funny that you are taking a shot at the backups, thats a great thing to say. I played, but not both ways, and not every special teams situation, which therefore means that I was on the sidelines during the game, and yes I was paying attention and I had a man telling me what I was seeing as it unfolded through the speakers.

No not taking a shot at the backups at all, just saying ive played on that field for awhile and you DO NOT hear the PA. When your running around out on the field listening the the PA is the last thing you do. Come on, so your saying the defense stands around, waiting for the PA to tell them the play and then go react to that, NO that doesnt happen. The players are not out there listening to the PA, there reacting to what they see on the field.

You don't know what you are talking about. He is new to this and before the end of last year he had never done it at any level. So you need to check your moon and your memmory.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it! You're right, it's an entire team and city celebrating--nothing more. Let's not get carried away here with silly comparisons without merit.

You are exactly correct, He just started doing this towards the end of last season for the Camels.

If that is the case then I must have him confused with someone else. I could have sworn that that was his name. Never before huh? Not even pee wee games?
