Are they the best from each region each year being rewarded on merit or are they every ref gets a trophy crews?

 

It seems to me year after year the Officials are subpar in the State Championship Games.

One thing is for sure, nominations are not merit based appointments.

There were glaring mistakes in the Mayfield/Danville game.

The interception, catch, out of bounds, incompletion in the end zone comes to mind. Wow, how do you ever come up with a catch for a touchdown on that?

There is a shortage of officials everywhere. If more people would step up maybe you could drive the good ole’ boys out.

 

I have a friend who made the championships games this year and he is a top notch official.

 

Sometimes the guy who deserves it does get the call but I hear what you’re saying for sure. I’ve seen it.

In some cases it definitely is good old boys club vs based on merit. Even deep in playoffs you’ll see the assigner picking his buddies over his best officials to rep his region.

Well the instant replay I watched several times(in slow motion) showed different. I don’t have a dog in the fight. 100% neutral
