You must have a different video because the one I posted above is a clear INT.

I thought so from other angle but this Twitter makes me wonder.

WR catches the ball. He does lose it in the roll. I assume the official thinks he had possession when his feet touched

I just watch it also. Looks just like you said. Danville player caught the ball and the Mayfield player took it away.

Looking at Twitter I may reverse my call. I’ll just shut up now. :ohbrother:

Not sure about the better team part of that statement.

Don’t see that at all. Which one? Van Cleave or Torton or Walker?

'92 Danville, 2A Champions honored at halftime. Some of those old letter jackets had 3 "Kentucky"s on the back. Sweet.

I was able to slow it down... Lemme go get my rule book.

My comment was I didn't see Mayfield as being the better team as the poster I quoted said.

After watching Josh Moore's angle I say TD. Mayfield player had more than one hand on the ball, and came up with two hands. Danville player caught it at the height and always had two hands on it. Slow down the video and it's clear as day.

Sorry, that’s who I was taking exception with. :thumb:

It looks like the Danville player came down with two hands on the ball and the Mayfield player had one hand on it. At that point two hands and feet down equals TD, plays over regardless what else happened. Just the way it looked to me.

It was close, but I’m sticking with INT.

The bigger issue for me is “wrong” official coming in and signaling TD without consulting the guy who was right on top of the play.

Cards ball on their own 34

You have to maintain possession.

Matthews with a big run into Danville territory.

Hopefully the game doesn’t come down to a single possession and that play won’t matter.
