November 22, 20178 yr I can see a scenario where Auburn could put a pretty good loss on Alabama and knock them out, even with only one loss. Obviously other things would have to happen but with Auburn's offense and Bama's inexperience at linebacker I can see Auburn scoring pretty handily while holding Bama's offense in check. Wouldn't be surprised at something like 38-17.
November 22, 20178 yr Author What is your dream scenario that would give OSU a chance? Miami and Alabama winning their conferences get OSU in. I am probably 75% confident that OSU would get in with that scenario assuming they win out. The other 25% is reserved for the off chance that USC rolls through Washington State/ Stanford in a similar fashion that OSU beat Wisconsin 3 years ago or the ACC or SEC championships end in a fluky way. But I don't see that happening.
November 22, 20178 yr The committee is sneaky. They got trashed last week for having Clemson ahead of Miami. They corrected that mistake. They then snuck South Carolina into the top 25 to boost Clemsons resume after they knock them off. :lol2: Why would they care to waste time on something like that when Miami and Clemson are going to play each other?
November 22, 20178 yr South Carolina is a good SEC East team. They aren't ready to compete with the big boys. Clemson should win by 20+. I wish I could find that point spread somewhere. I would like to put some money down

It allows them to put them in easier if they win the big 10 and all other favorites when theirs too. The committee did that for a reason just like I agree with you with why they put South Carolina in. They are sneaky good with that.
November 22, 20178 yr Author Why would they care to waste time on something like that when Miami and Clemson are going to play each other? Because it matters.
November 22, 20178 yr Win and you're in...Bama, Miami or Clemson, Wisconsin and Oklahoma...that's the easiest scenario. If Auburn wins out even with two losses they deserve to get in. (1 loss was a tight game with Clemson and they would have beaten Alabama and UGA (twice) in the last month. If UGA wins SEC title (over Auburn or Alabama), I'm not sure I'd put them in after getting curb stomped. That loss is hard for me to look past. I'd consider Miami if they lost a close game to Clemson. Question would be, would Alabama loss to Auburn eliminate them or could they still get in? If they lose to UGA in SEC title game does that eliminate them? If Ohio State wins out and wins B1G I'm not sure they would deserve to get in over any of the others. Having 2 losses and one of them being a game where they were absolutely destroyed...it hard to put them in like it is hard for me to consider UGA at this point. But this is all speculation, if none of the top 5 lose (Clemson / Miami will have a loser) it will all settle pretty predictably. Don't forget osu got curb stomped twice not just once. So if you would keep Georgia out for one beat down. Then osu shouldn't even be in a discussion with 2 beat downs.

November 22, 20178 yr You're just special. At least I'm honest and not afraid to say what I think. :thumb:
