They'll now travel to Glasgow, to face the Scotties (10-3) for the right to play for a state championship. As expected, Glasgow handled Monroe County, 40-14, to win their first regional title since 2011.

 

Can the Scotties pull the upset, or will Danville continue its march to Kroger Field?

Danville is like a run away train at this point. Glasgow is a more physical team but I believe Danville’s speed will win the day!!!

Yes.

 

They have also moved some personnel around on offense that seems to paying dividends.

Glasgow has at least 2 lineman headed to college ball. They made a mid season switch at QB and the former QB is a really good slash player. They are plenty fast. Really excellent linebackers. It would shock me if the margin were as predicted here.

I do not put much stock into comparisons, but I saw Glasgow lost to Allen Co-Scottsville. ACS lost to Pulaski Co who Danville handled quite easily.

 

I think it will be interesting to see if Glasgow can trade punches with Danville who can strike so quickly.
