He has had an influence on sports figures from many different sports, as well as entertainers outside of sport. Interesting comment in the show from Snoop Dogg about what Ric meant to the hip hop industry. Definitely didn't see that coming. "He's one of us". 8. Poignant moment when Ric talked about one of his biggest regrets- not being more of a father to Reid, instead of just a buddy. Definitely got me a little.
November 8, 20178 yr I honestly didn't miss him...I'm just not a fan of Vince nor do I care what he has to say :lol2: I'm with you. I'm actually glad they kept him out of it. I can't say that I'm not a fan of Vince, but I feel like he would have taken away more than he added. I am not a fan of Vince either but I believe he should have had a small part in the documentary.

I saw an interview with Flair once where he said that if Sting had come along sooner, he would have been the biggest wrestler in history...even bigger than Hogan. Sting said that Flair taught him everything and loved working with him.

The promos where he gets fired up and beats himself on the forehead until he opens up the blade cuts from the match the night before...that's not fake at all. It amazed me when I was a kid and I first learned that when wrestlers bled in a match, it wasn't (usually) from any damage inflicted by the opponent, but the wrestler would cut himself with a hidden piece of a razor blade. I miss the old days of territory wresting. I love to watch the old stuff on YouTube and it's too bad that the one company with the most money and most exposure can't hold a candle to the old stuff shot in cramped studios. Long live Ric Flair!

He handled it better than Dr. D David Schultz did when John Stossel asked him if it was fake. He didn't say it was choreographed on the talk show though, but he did say that in the interview for the 30 for 30 show.
