October 9, 200619 yr This not a shot at you guys or anything like that. But you have to be very concerned with how Big Ben is playing. He has thrown 9 INT's since his last TD and i don't think he has had a passer rating over 60 this year. Is he not as good as everyone thought or is it his off season issues taking a toll on him?

October 9, 200619 yr The lousy Steelers couldn't do enough to keep the Chargers from scoring so many points on defense...it cost me this week in FFL.

I think it's a case of the Steeler "philosophy" on player development creating problems with the talent on the field (at least on O)...

When your on the field for the majority of the game like the steelers defense was, you begin to wear down which is what happened to the steelers d. I think their d is fine, but they need some production from the offense to rest the d for a while. And yes we are all concerned at this point.

October 9, 200619 yr I think they should have left Charlie Batch in there for a few weeks until Big Ben is 100%. He looked decent in week 1 verses the Dolphins.
October 9, 200619 yr I feel like we have played and lost to three really good teams early. We'll see how they all pan out over the season. No we are not playing our best and Ben isn't hitting the receivers and sometimes the receivers aren't catching the ball. I believe Ben's not as sharp and the running game is at times OK not stellar. I knew we would have problems with the running game and we should have taken Lendale White out of USC in the draft. They'll get it going it maybe to late in a couple of weeks but they'll be back.
October 9, 200619 yr The Steelers have been hurt by poor decision-making by Ben. That INT he threw last night in the 4th qtr was pitiful. Eat the ball and take your chance on the next play.
