Thoughts and predictions?

Is there upset potential here? I would consider it a pretty big upset if Garrard won, but Lexington Catholic has struggled so much defensively this year that it makes me wonder if Garrard County could sneak up on them in this one.

These 2 teams will be playing for the 5th time in 3 years and for the 4th time at Lex Cath. 2015 LC- 28 GC-16 (reg season) LC-59 GC 26 playoffs. 2016 LC-63 GC-31, 2017 LC-42 GC-24. I dont think either team has punted in the last 3 meetings. A GC win would be a huge upset

Garrard will get their points...the question is can they slow Lex Cath down?

Garrard's defense stepped up and got some key stops against a good Flemingsburg offense. Probably not as good as the Knights but good none the less. If they can get a stop or two and move the ball on the ground successfully maybe they pull off another upset? The mental hurdle of thinking you can win against a team that has had your number for years might be the biggest obstacle in there way.

Jerry Perry is a great football mind, especially on defense.

 

Can Garrard trade offensive punches with them? We know their running attack will shorten the game for LexCath, but will it be enough?

Would love for Garrard to pick them off but I just don't see it. Heart with the Lions and head with the other guys.

This is a crazy stat.

Would love to see a Garrard upset. Anything can happen but head says Catholic.

The more I think about, the more I wanna pick Garrard, but I think Last week was a wake up call for Catholic.
