October 8, 200620 yr I thought they played awful, but the fact that they still had a shot to win at the end really makes me believe this team is moving in the right direction.

The Cats just can't get that big win...I was disappointed in the crowd tonight, I thought for sure it would be packed but there were a lot of empty seats.
October 8, 200620 yr Cats defense again let them down. Woodson, when he had time, looked good, however all night it seemed he was being chased. A bowl is still well within reach, just beat the 'Dores, MSU, and La. Monroe, and we will still be bowling.

I look for UK to lose against either Vandy or MSU and then be forced to win one that they're not supposed to win in order to get to 6 wins.
October 8, 200620 yr Liked to see the wideouts get the ball more on short out passes. Defense played better.
October 8, 200620 yr Ahh UK..how I love thee...but alas...how I hate thee as I well! Bottom line is no matter how much improved our offense and in particular Woodson is... as long as our defense has more holes than Swiss cheese then all is for not. Our defensive line is thinner than a frog's hair right now and with Woodyard being the only linebacker playing anythign that resembles defense, we are just at a loss.
October 8, 200620 yr I think UK takes care of business against MSU and Louisiana-Monroe. That leaves Vandy as a must win game, and possibly the only winnable game besides those two. The only other one I think they might have a shot at is Georgia, but they won't play that badly against UK.
October 8, 200620 yr The only thing certain about Georgia is that they are not even close to the top 10. I'm not certain they're even top 20.
October 8, 200620 yr I really think that UK might beat GA. RP thinking the cats can beat UGA?:scared: I think it may be snowing somewhere really hot beneath our feet
October 8, 200620 yr Didn't get to watch it, but I tivo'd it. I'll give my opinions after watching...
October 8, 200620 yr I'm glad to see Joker opening the playbook up with the screens etc. I think he has gotten MUCH better since the UofL game. I still think they've got to find ways to get Burton the ball more. KY has A LOT of talent on offense! I think they can play with about everybody left but maybe LSU and Tenn (although it's about catching those teams at the right times sometimes). UK's defense is pretty sorry! I know depth on the dline is killing them and I've never seen a team go through injuries every year like UK. I think the Cubs/Red Sox curses are way overrated. Being a UK football fan and waiting for those big wins is tougher than any other curse! I do think they are much improved as far as athletes go though.
