Tigers won me over with their celebration after the game. That was great

That was a classic. Nobody deserved to celebrate more than the Tigers. Since my Yanks are gone I hope Detroit takes it all & Casey is the MVP.

:thumb: :thumb: Also for Leyland, along with Torre he imo is the best manager in baseball.

Leyland is a great baseball man and it is only fitting that he returned to manage with the team he originally signed with as a player.

He signed with the Tigers in 63 as a catcher.

There's the D'Angelo Jimenez we all know and love. 5-0 Tigers after 3 1/2...

So much for my saying the series will be dominated by pitching:lol: I am back on track with my predictions.

I did not realized that either. That is fitting for him.:thumb: Cville, you are wise beyond your years!  :thumb:

What a brilliant piece of pitching. Striking out the side with men on 2nd and 3rd,

Just watched S. Casey's calf muscle snap, that turned my stomach. What a bad break for Casey, I hate that for him. Hopefully he can come back at some point in this series or beyond if the Tigers can amke it past Oakland. "The Mayor" deserves it.

How about Detroit....

How about Detroit....

:thumb: They can play the game and they do it the way it should be played. A direct reflection on the manager. Old School baseball still and always will win.:thumb: By the way, has anyone heard them say anything else on Casey?

Can I change my vote? Tigers looked strong last night. They really beat up on Zito, after it looked like Zito was going to dominate the Tigers.

Tigers get the big win in game one.

What a great job the pitching was for the Tigers in this one.

Is there anything better than watching Zumaya flat bring it?
