Does Ludlow shock the Beechies this year?

They have a punchers chance. Frustrate the Beechies a bit and keep it close. Blackburn is the best player in Class A in NKY. Never know what could happen.

I'm not sure Ludlow can beat Beechwood, but you can never really be sure if a 1A NKY School can beat Beechwood. I expect Ludlow to come into the Beechwood game undeafeted and playing with a lot of confidence though.

I think Ludlow will have their hands full next week and after that they can worry about meeting Beechwood.

Playing well so far but beating Beechwood at Beechwood is a very difficult task.

I beg to differ. There are a couple kids from the team in Ft Mitchell that are pretty darn good in Logan Castleman and Adam Derry. Both of those kids are getting D1 looks.. Blackburn is a very very good player though!!

Ludlow is a very physical football team, and Blackburn plays with a punch you in the mouth style. Beechwood is battle tested having played Corbin, CCH, Lloyd with SK to go so I don't think Ludlows physical running style will bother BW. Corbin's QB was physical as well with his size (6'1 220) but not quite the speed of Blackburn. Plus with a standout secondary, BW will be able to key on stopping the run.

I think Ludlow will have a hard time containing BW offensively especially in the air. If they give BW the time they gave Williamsburg QB, BW will pick them apart. I'd guess a 45-20 type game.

As much as I would love it, no. Beechwood will be able to take away the three headed running monster that Ludlow has and will force them to win throwing. I still see Beechwood as a completely different level than Ludlow, but man I hope the Panthers prove me wrong!

Side note-very impressed with how this team is mentally. This is a well prepared, disciplined team for the most part.

Very nice win for Ludlow. I am excited for Ludlow and for their program. It sounds like there is some talent in their middle school level. Hopefully Coach Taphouse can keep the talent that too often leaves Ludlow at Ludlow and can build the program into a consistent 1A top ten team.

Good game by the Panthers. Blackburn is as good as he's been known. I was also impressed with Stratton, Hathaway, and Kramer. Ludlow definitely left points off the scoreboard earlier in the first half.

Is this Cody Kramer....who was at Cov Cath last year??

Yes

Yes. He grew up in Ludlow and still lived in Ludlow. He decided to come back this year.

Both are also very good players obviuosly . However I would take Blackburn over both. All 3 players are amazing though.

Well Brossart has a good team. I think Ludlow will win by a couple tds as long as they continue not to look ahead.

Not at all! They are having a great season but let's not get a head of our self.
