Teams should scout better and move the return men back a few yards or 15.

 

And was not inserted in the game just last week where a good punt could have pinned LexCath back. I guess that something was learned last week.

Highlands Kicking game is great.

The punter is Awesome, nice spirals.

Observation- when Sk's corner went out Highlands staff went right after his replacement 2 straight plays...gota love that. However, when Highlands corner went out his replacement was on Fisher and SK didn't take advantage, hmm?

Highlands O Line owned SK particularly in the 2nd half. SK run defense kinda weak tonight. Getting Cogswell back will definitely help.

It is True about Matt Shearer being told he would never play QB for Highlands.

Shearer, Murray and Fisher played great for SK.

Sk really missing Sergeant in games like this.

Since I was unable to attend the game tonight, can someone tell me what the Highlands offensive scheme was tonight? Did they run the spread or something different?

 

Glad to see that they chose to try a few field goals tonight. Sitting in the stands last week I was not quite sure why attempts were not made on several different occasions.

Spread, alot of misdirection they mixed the run and pass up.

Amazing how the perceived white/black hats have switched on this game from a few years ago.

Wow.... What an exciting HS football game to watch tonight! Congrats SK!

Was the clock running ok in Independence? Ha, two years in a row the neers are supposed to be all world and barely beat the "bad" birds. SK has their hands full w Ryle and Campbell. Highlands let this one get away.

 

Who won?

I went to CCH and won state in 1997. There were a ton of basketball players that would have made huge impact for 94 - 98. From what I stand either one coach didn't want the othe to play the other sport. More than likely the player chooses FB. A few chose basketball. If they would have played both. A few more rings.

 

More importantly. I pretty sure this happened to Jared Lorenzen. Major fail by CCH....

Great game on both of the teams played tonight, just wish the SK fans wouldn't say this was their worst game of the season.. looked pretty solid to me but I'm impressed how the birds stuck with them the whole game
