October 3, 200619 yr I would move Griffey to an AL team for anything they can get. I would keep Larue simply because of his ability to call a game. The hitting will come around. Even if it doesn't, it's not like Ross or Valentin have the consistent ability to call games. I think Milton should go for the same reason as Griffey -- $$$$$. The big question is what to do with Dunn. The free agent market this year is one of the worst in recent years. Most major improvements will have to be made via the trade.

That's a misleading stat since you have to rely on people getting on base in front of you...and don't give me the solo home run argument.

October 3, 200619 yr As long as the Reds and Reds fans just want the long ball, they are going to have to continue to look forward to .500 seasons. Baseball is won with pitching, not the long ball... I would rather have a fundamentally sound player than just someone who swings for the river every time.
