Never would have guessed a Brossart Nicolas county football thread would bring in 3 new posters. Congrats to the 2 programs for creating excitement for your school.

When you play in a five team district, each of your four district games are of paramount importance in the grand seeding/home field advantage scheme of things.

Last season a single loss to Nicholas County and wins over Bracken, Paris, and Berea, still put us on the road to Raceland, when Bracken County upset Nicholas and three of us ended up with 3-1 marks that sent the seeding race to a tie-breaker.

 

While it is only one game it is a game that both of these teams need to win.

Campbell Co. High School this year. Normally, Campbell Co. Middle School which is undergoing renovations of the field.

Is this the District Championship?

Too early for that stuff PI ... in my opinion not much separates those same 4 teams ... on any given night anybody can beat anybody ... So yes this game is huge for both teams in the grand scheme of things in this competitive district ... one key player goes down to injury on any of these teams could derail their season so keeping people healthy is a must for all of us ... but way too much football to be played before anybody is named district champs ... I look for it to be a great game Friday ... wish it would be a little cooler but that is what it is ... good luck to both teams ..
