With U.K's defense being the deciding factor : So. Carolina - 37, U.K. - 17.

Kentucky 31

South Carolina 27

The Cats defense does just enough to win, and Little breaks out and has over a hundred yards rushing.

Would love to see UK pull this one out. Really need to step it up a couple of nothches to hold SC with in check..... Another test of the programs progress. Earlier in the preseason, I think most die hards had this as a probable UK W.... Gonna be pretty tough to pull this one out.. Dont bet the mortgage, but I see the Cats by 2.........

This would be the first momentum of the "Brooks" era..... Do you think they can pull it off????

I think 3-0 at home this season, and giving Florida some trouble for a while constitutes "momentum"...Like I have previously stated, each week UK fans should realize how good UofL is.

Cats do it...41-35 in OT.

I hope that you are right Bama.

Ill take UK with the upset at home.

Kentucky 34

South Carolina 28

This is a game I think UK could win, but if they don't make some adjustments to their pass defense then it could be a long night. Hopefully UK's offense can keep up their scoring pace and if so give the Cats a chance.

I see the defense stepping up and UK pulling out the close win by 3.

I'm a HUGE Cat fan but with Archer giving up 550 yds to a team averaging 300a game like he did last week, the Cats will score some points, but the Gamecocks will score alot more!

SC-44

UK-20

Guess what guys? I'm going to this one, I will get my tickets this Tuesday and will witness a UK win, I hope. Cats by four 21-17.

This game would be a huge win for UK. I just don't think it's gonna happen..yet. Spurriers offense isn't even what worries me about this game, it's the gamecock's defense that kept them in the Auburn game. If SC keeps UK's offense in check it could be a long game for the cats.

UK - 10

SC - 13

UK misses a 45 yard field goal that would have sent it to O.T. Hopefully Im wrong. :sssh:

After the first game of the season, the UK progress and the Uof L progress have nothing to do with each other. If U of L finished 10 -2 and UK finished 4 - 8 so what..... The UofL won loss record has nothing to do with UK and vise versa, except for the head to head competition in game 1. One may come to the realization that U of L football is good, maybe very good, but this means nothing for or against the UK program. UK has to earn their own victories. UK fans can come to the understanding that U OF L is in the top 10 and has a nice program (season).... but this does nothing to boost UK's stature? I really am missing your point.

My point is everyone was panicking after the UofL game, saying how UK had made no progress in the program, get rid of Brooks, etc. Now after five games, I think everyone realizes that UofL was a lot better than anyone gave them credit for. All every game that UK has played since has done is make UofL look better and better. Especially when the Cats went to the Swamp and hung in there with the higher ranked Gators.

14-13 UK

Cats block an extra point in the 2nd quarter!
