October 2, 200619 yr Four weeks in, I think this thing is more clouded than it was when the season started. The Ravens are snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, and when things even out, it's not likely that it will continue. The Bengals have not played all that well even though they are 3-1. Played very well in short stretches in the three wins, but overall there is a lot of room for improvement. The Steelers are going to be right in the mix, but they are in a bad spot right now. The Browns are still at least a year away, but they are going to factor into this race in a big way before it's said and done. What say you???

October 2, 200619 yr 9 wins wouldn't suprise me right now, the schedule is brutal. That's the way the NFL schedules games. Every team in the North faces all the AFC West teams this year, all the NFC South teams, and then the Bengals get the other two division winners from the AFC, because they won their division last season. It's a tough road, but the Pats, Steelers, and Broncos, have been there as well.

At the rate you've started, you'll finish 12-4. I'll guess that would get you in the playoffs. Relax and act like you've been there before.:sleep:
October 2, 200619 yr At least they got Carolina and Atlanta at home. Before the season I think we were all writing New Orleans in as an easy win, that obviously isn't the case. But I do fully expect them to go to Tampa and take care of business. Tampa wasn't looking real good before Simms went down.

I think that all depends on Steve McNair staying healthy. If he stays healthy, the Ravens are going to be a really hard team to beat. Regardless of whether or not the offense is putting up big numbers, or whether they even look that good, McNair is really good in late game situations when the game is close. And, with that defense, they will almost always be close. The scary thing is if McNair and that offense actually start to come together and produce at a high level. We could be looking at a Chicago vs Baltimore Super Bowl. :scared: But, as a longtime Titan fan, I feel confident that "Air" McNair will get grounded at some point. I've seen it too many times.
