Terrible play calling when you have a 1 point lead with 6 minutes to go and you run the ball 3 straight times to gain 8 yards and then punt it away. Irish had no running game all night and only moved the ball thru the air so why try three straight runs? And you can't say they were going to rely on the defense because all it took was a FG for Georgia to take the lead. I know Kelly is not calling the plays but he needs to take control late in games or else ND will continue to lose close games. ND actually played well on defense and special teams and the offense had done enough to win the game against a very good Georgia team. But you can't give Georgia all those chances.

They got conservative against a good team. That'll get you beat just about every time.
September 11, 20179 yr I was really glad to see UGA get that win. I can't stand their current coach (Kelly) but I really love and resect the ND tradition / history. A win in South Bend just may have been the one that spikes their confidence and sets UGA off to an SEC East title.
