Happy Birthday Month - Randy Parker

I heard through the grapevine that @LCDAWGS19 failed to pick a team in the NFL Elimination Contest as a sign of peaceful protest against @Getslow 's bashing of this thread. #Rumor

I honestly thought I had picked a team...oh well.

Austin Powers feels randy.

Parker Brothers makes good games.

Coincidence? I think not.

Not to threadjack, but here's a brief story.

My dad and a fellow guidance counselor dreamed up a board game that they submitted to Parker Brothers for consideration. It was called "Uncouth". Players traveled around the outer board and visited four inner venues to do uncouth things and amass uncouth points. The venues were a wedding, the opera, a dinner party and one more that I can't recall (in my defense, this was 40 or 50 years ago).

The one act that I still distinctly recall from the deeps of time was that you received two uncouth points for complimenting the hostess at the dinner party on how sanitary her napkins were.

Submission denied.

Submit it again. Have you heard of some of the adult games out there now?

He probably could have submitted it just a few years later to an outfit that did business with Spencer Gifts or a similar company.

In a similar vein, a roommate and I dreamed up something similar (but infinitely more vulgar) in college. The mere mention of the two-word title would get me banned from this site for several consecutive life terms.

But I digress. This is the thread that is here for one purpose and one purpose only - to celebrate the force of nature that is Randall B. Parker. In my humble opinion, we haven't done him justice. Not by a long shot.

He could submit it today. Check out main stream games such as;

I've never

Suddenly drunk

Midnight taboo

Cards against Humanity.

A little birthday thread trivia:

132 posts in this thread (with this post) is the all-time high for posts in a Happy Birthday thread! It breaks the previous high of 107 which was also in a thread for one Mr. Randall Parker. Man, this guy is beloved.

The only other people to ever have more than 50 posts in their birthday thread are @theguru, @mcpapa, and our own version of "Smurfette", @lawildcat.

I'm not sure how I feel about the "Smurfette" moniker, however, that's pretty good company to be with atop the mountain!

The only thing Randy Parker has ever beaten me in besides "fewest texts".
