I'm pretty sure the focus is on a different CCH this week.

You're not speaking for anyone that has been around Highlands Football for almost 50 years. However I will say that I did see the other night that Highlands is playing more aggressive than they have in the last couple of years. It's night & day! Still would like to some Personnel Changes sooner rather than later.....

You cannot & I mean that in all seriousness have your now #1 RB and Friday Night's Player of the Game on the Front line on the Kickoff return team blocking who has proven that the Ball must be in his Hands....

At some point the Seniority & Entitlement Crap needs to be thrown out the Window.

There's my Sunday rant!

Heard they played mostly seniors this week? Only about 6 juniors saw the field? Ant truth to that?

1 game Really?

Boy this thread is premature.

Like I told FF74, we can all look like professionals if we wait till the season is over.

Right, because there's no in between.

Confidence and arrogance... Can't wait for the that weeks prediction thread...

This is the year Cov Cath fans have been waiting for - destroy Highlands, win state championship. Both will happen.

10/13 night game at CCH won't be pretty...

I think some folks in Bowling Green might disagree.

Not even close to true. I'm sure I'm missing someone, but Juniors schwalbach, sisson, Armstrong, bowman, Cramer, Johnson, Greene, and sophomores , lewin, schwalbach, dierig, and delgrange all played significant time (plus more on special teams) ...

I am not ready to say that HHS is back to being HHS but I will say the defense is back to having a pulse. It was nice to see the kids actually getting excited and flying around a little bit on defense. There were some hard hits and gang tackles.

Thanks. I was curious as to their depth. Sounds like they are on the rebound. Good luck to the birds.

If you are going to beat Bowling Green, you better do it this year. Purples still can run the table this year, IMO. Next year, forget about it.

Bowling Green sits atop a very large (some would say mammoth) hole in the ground. Anything can happen... :lol2:

Come on who expected Highlands to stay anywhere near the bottom? That said, we can't measure how good Highlands is because Cooper is facing major regression. Highlands is much better this year but probably isn't the super power they once were.

Any person or team is going to have a difficult time achieving "the run" Highlands made in recent history, but the program seems to be on good foundation with some talent moving through the ranks in the next few years. Friday nights in the Fort will be fun to watch.

I sure hope the Bluebirds are on their way back to being a dominant team. It is good for high school football. It raises the bar for all those close to Fort Thomas. It raises the interest level an discussion across the state.
