Surprisingly it's on the grounds of a Catholic church in Independence, Ky - about a 25 minute drive south of downtown Cincy via KY-17.

Year after year they surprisingly bring in big name acts...last year was Dennis Deyoung of Styx.

I saw U2 a couple weeks ago which was excellent.

 

Avett Brothers are playing after a Reds game in late August. I'll probably show up in the 9th inning and watch the show.

 

Also seeing Donald Fagen in August.

Cheap Trick opened for Benatar and Heart last year. Very disappointed in them.

Holy smokes was the Diane Coffee show at the Northside Rock n' Roll Circus an amazing dynamite explosive show.

 

It's was just so powerful that I don't know that I could do it justice with words.

 

This is my third time seeing them, and they have never disappointed, but wow did Shaun Flemming and the Boys ever bring it.

 

This is saying a lot considering all the shows that I've ever been to, but I can say with no hesitation that this one is now firmly in my top 10 of all time.

 

I took a friend who had never heard of them and he was blown away.

 

I have both of their albums, and while the recordings are decent, there's just no comparison to the kind of show they bring to the stage. It was da bomb, and if you're ever at a Diane Coffee show and you don't feel it with every fiber of your being, then you're not even alive.

 

The music is a stylish tasteful theatrical rockin' blend of glammy Bowiesque, Beatles, Mowtown, Rocky Horror with solid no holds barred intense in your face rock n' roll where lead singer/guitarist Shuan Flemming non-stop pours out every bit of his heart and soul expiring more energy than anyone could imagine.

 

It really just has to be seen to believe, and if you ever get the chance don't miss them. I guarantee that you won't regret it. If you do, I promise to pay for your ticket.
