Would you support Medical Marijuana in Kentucky if only pills or other digestible versions were made legal and smoking was not?

There can be no argument that there is valid medicinal use for marijuana that would give relief to many. Pills while taking longer to "Kick in" have been shown to give much longer pain relief and other medicinal value.

So if it came to a vote for Medical Marijuana products to be sold legally but smoking was still illegal would you vote for it?

First off, yes.

One question for clarification though...would you still get a high from it?

I'm not sure if the pills do that or not. I have read that they are great for pain and other symptoms that MM is generally prescribed for.

Kentucky has the highest rate of cancer deaths in the nation. Just for that affliction alone MM should be legalized in any form in this state.

The ingredient in marijuana that gets you high is THC.

There are many forms of medical marijuana that are high in CBD. This does not get you high.

CBD does not give the buzz that THC does and is safe for children.

The overwhelming amount of evidence supports the legalization of marijuana, particularly on a medicinal level.

It is possible to debate whether or not it should be legalized for recreational purposes, but the medicinal benefits are unparalleled.

Unfortunately, the pharmaceutical companies have spent billions of dollars in convincing people otherwise.

I would support any form of legalization. I think you should be able to smoke it as well, but I would support it even if that wasn't part of the bill.

I agree. There is no option for this in the poll, however.

This is where I'm at as well.

I support legalization in all forms and for all purposes.

Agreed.

Seems like it's mostly lawmakers who aren't in support of this.

Gee wonder who is lining their pockets to keep it that way.

If you would support it without smoking then that would be the first poll option or at least that's how I meant it. First option means that you would support it even if smoking wasn't part of the law...no more no less.

Considering the number of counties in KY that are still dry, this isn't surprising. If almost half of KY counties don't want to allow the sale of alcohol then they sure aren't going to be okay with the sale of MJ.
