Easy answer. Alabama.

Still none, but I am not qualified to pick, I dont even know who the kid is. (I also dont follow Trinity in any detail either.) So, I will leave my answer with, whatever school give him the best program for what he wants to do after football.

After a google search, kid needs to find someone else do do his highlight tape. 3 plays in a row he gives up his outside with no corner help. Either bad decisions or bad scheme (again not familiar with Trinity so who knows) just doesn't look good on film.

The kid knows what kind of degree hes interested in. That may eliminate some. He knows which coaches he hits it off with and which he doesn't. That will eliminate more. Then he can take his 5 visits and see the campus and the facilities.

If the NFL is in my future, Alabama or Ohio State. If I'm going to do something other than football, Vandy or Duke. That's probably over generalizing, but regardless, those are some really nice options to have.

Stanford (not on list, but I reach out). He has above a 4.0, they are always in the running and you can't beat Bay Area weather. Additionally, you are in the heart of technology's world.

Lol I'd say his highlight tape is irrelevant considering his current list of offers.

Tennessee

Texas

Alabama

Have any of the major rating places rated him yet? Ie is he 4 star or better?

 

If so, is he rated high enough that he can feel confident that he would start a few years at Ohio State or Alabama? There is nothing I hate more than to see good players go to big time schools and rarely ever see the field when had they gone to a level lower and would have gotten much more playing time.

His highlight tape looks like the tape of a 4 star DE

Of all those teams listed, how many of them do you think the head coach is going to be the same guy when this kid is finally a junior or senior in college? How many have made a coaching change in the past 4-5 years? The guy you agree to play for now may not be the guy who ends up coaching you then.

 

Alabama and Ohio State would be the only two I'd feel comfortable picking right now.

Agreed. If you want to play for championships, get coached up by the best, and have a real shot at the NFL, you can't go wrong with Alabama and Nick Saban.
