Glenn Campbell Says Goodbye With Title Track from Forthcoming Final Album

Featured Replies

Possibly the best studio musician who has ever lived. In the final stages of Alzheimer's, Campbell leaves us with the title track of his forthcoming final studio album. Brilliant job, as always...

That's been out for quite a while, when I saw the thread title I was afraid he'd passed away.

Haggard said "Glen has more talent in his little finger than most musicians have in their whole body".

I saw this last week from his daughter Ashley

I should not have watched that.

That was really good.

What is your favorite Campbell song? I have several favorites. "Wichita Lineman" is such a great tune. Anything that Glen and Jimmy Webb collaborated on was pure goldelicious.

Wichita Lineman is a stroke of genius. The arrangement is one of my all time favorites. I never tire of hearing this song.

Agree. It never grows old. Genius, indeed.

The Boss and I were lucky enough to see him live in Las Vegas. What was so nice it wasn't a huge venue but rather a small and intimate stage and he took a couple of question and request. BTW my Father-in-Law was, in fact, a Lineman for Cincinnati Gas and Electric and he loved that song and I mean loved that song!
